Hello and thank you for visiting the website of Calvary Evangelical Free Church.  We would love to have you visit us so that you could get to know what makes us a distinct, unique community. 

Some of you may wonder about me, the Pastor.  I am first and foremost a disciple of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior.  I am also a son, a brother, a husband, a father, an uncle, and more.  I was born and raised in Pittsburgh PA.  I graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a double major undergraduate as well as an MBA. 

After much searching for the “good life” – going from New York, to Pittsburgh, and eventually Los Angeles – I finally saw the Light.  It was while in California that I placed my faith in Jesus Christ, met my future wife, got married, and went to seminary (Talbot School of Theology). 

My wife, Emily, was born in Austin TX but made her way out to Hollywood pursuing her career (She has a Masters in Communication).  God brought us together and the rest is our story.  It now includes our 3 lovely children – Gianna, Luca, & Rocco (8, 6 and 4 as April 2011).

I have been at Calvary EFC since September of 2007.  Previously I was pastor for 5 years at Faith Bible Church in La Marque TX.  God is doing some great things at Calvary EFC and I hope we see you soon so that we may meet and spend some time together.
